In the evenings, after washing my face, I will rinse each eye twice with Unisol again and then apply a tiny bit of Soothe and I'm good throughout the night and into the next morning. The bottles are safe for air travel in the cabin too, which is great if you're not into checking your bag. I depend on this product! These lens, if you are not familiar with them, are much larger than the normal contact lens in that they cover the entire eye. I use the Unisol 4 in several steps of cleansing my lenses and then filling them twice a day before inserting them into my eyes!

The Unisol 4 is used as my tears since I do not make my own. My only plea to the Alcon company is that they make Unisol 4 available in 3oz containers so when we have to fly it won't be taken from us. Those of us who wear Scleral Lenses must keep Unisol 4 with us incase a flight is delayed, cancelled, is a very long flight or whatever cirmstances arise that we would have to take the lens out and then reinsert them.

I hope Alcon will do this for those who must fly. My doctor recommended Unisol and I have been using it now for over a year. It is wonderful and does not hurt my eye. I only see out of one eye, so I have to be sure I don't do anything stupid. The ONLY complaint I have about the Unisol is that the cap when tightened all the way for the first of each bottle, the cap punches a hole in the bottle for use.

So when I spray the Unisol into my lens instead of dripping, I never know where it is going to go. I feel this is a problem they need to fix. I did call the manufacturer and they are aware of this. They offered me a replacement bottle and when I said, it is not necessary because it will still do that, she said she understood. So while this may or may not ever get solved, I just have to be a little careful that I do not spray anything that should not get wet until they, if ever, fix this little problem.

I have very sensitive eyes and have to rinse my contact lenses each morning after they are cleaned. This is the only saline that doesn't make my eyes burn or make it feel like there is sand in my eye. The little bottles are just the right size so that you can use all of it before it expires but not so small as to feel like a waste like those little "pods" of saline that only have a few drops in each thing.

I also like that the bottles have been TSA approved so I can take them on trips without having to put it in checked luggage and worry about the bags getting lost and then not having saline. I have also used it as sterile saline when my husband had to rinse his ear with a cleaner that needed to be rinsed out. Also great as an eye wash when something gets in your eye.

The only draw back is the price, but the stores near me aren't carrying it anymore. Pretty much the best Saline solution for contact users on the market. Perhaps the best saline solution to ever come to market. Perfect bottle size, easy to handle, including using for rewetting I personally do this instead of using rewetting solutions; haven't researched to know what's proper.

Didn't irritate my eyes whatsoever. The manufacturer Alcon ceased production of it in late I have not been able to find a replacement like it. It is objectively worse in every way and is potentially causing some "clouding" when wearing my contacts.

We've written a petition to Alcon to produce the product again, but as of yet it's been unsuccessful. I don't know why they discontinued it, but it was a huge mistake. I use this to lubricate my eyes, instead of using the various expensive lubricants that don't seem to work very well and I have tried many, including no preservative ones.

I have very dry eyes due to chronic blepharitis. It was only when I gave up on the lubricants and started using Unisol that the relief became more long lasting. My daughter wears contacts and has used Unisol for years for her lubricant and also to soak her contacts. I wish that this product were made in a more purse-friendly and smaller container. I have to discard about half the bottle because it lasts much longer than I think would be safe for something to go into my eyes. I should also mention that I have used Rebecca's Make Sense 11th Hour Facial cream on the margins of my eyelids and this has proved very helpful with my dry eye symptoms.

Lubricating my lid margins was suggested by my dermatologist, not my ophthalmologist, but has been the single most helpful thing in 30 years of dealing with this confounded condition. I have used basically every contact solution on the market for my soft lenses. In recent years, my eyes have been frequently dry, red, itchy, and irritated no matter what I try. I really didn't know that it was because of my solution, I thought I was just wearing my contacts too much or not taking good care of my eyes.

I have made frequent trips to my eye doctor thinking that I had an eye infection, only to have him tell me that my eyes were okay. After switching to this contact solution, ALL of these issues went away.

I couldn't believe it. By the end of the day, I am no longer going crazy to get home and get my contacts out. No itchiness, no redness, no pain. If you are having issues with your contact lenses and wearing your glasses more frequently to avoid putting them in, try this solution.

I am back to the days when I hardly remember my contacts are in Hard to find in stores, but a great buy on Amazon. I've tried using others and they sting my eyes. The one disappointment I have with this solution is how expensive it has become. But alas, I am unable to find it anywhere in stores in my area so I rely on the amazon subscription.

If laser surgery where an option, I would have it done, just to save the expense of contacts and all the necessary accessories. But it really is the best saline around. March I'd give Unisol4 5 stars as an excellent product. I've taken off one because of its soon-to-be non-existent availability. If you're reading this you probably know that the product is being discontinued. I needed to get some desperately and so payed the big bucks - about 4x normal price - that people are asking now online for remaining stock.

THEN, I found out that my optometrist had some stock that he would sell me for the usual price. They may have some around, since there are not a lot of users of the product. Which is probably why it's being discontinued! One person found this helpful. Get fast answers from reviewers. Please make sure that you are posting in the form of a question.
